Type Snap
Can anyone help me with my skittish puppy?
My boy is my best friend and I have spent a lot of time training, socializing and taking him to puppy school but he is still pretty frantic with traffic and strangers.
He is 7 months and is going through a brat phase. An incident today really worried me…we were on a busy street and he went really frantic, bouncing around like a bucking bronco! But what really concerned me is that a nice stranger tried to help and he went for a little warning type snap! He knows to never, ever snap.
What are some ways that I help him be less afraid and more confident? He is really smart and loving – just a little hard-headed recently.
I think not only you but if other people also encourage then he can be alright…. he is familiar with you but problem of others…. so keep him in your company as much possible….
